For over 50 years, Michael’s of Brooklyn has been delivering its guests a delicious Italian culinary experience at their restaurant on the corner of Avenue R in Brooklyn, New York. In 1964 Michael Cacace, opened up Michaels of Brooklyn, a single-oven pizza parlor. An Italian immigrant from Bari, Italy, Michael opened up a business that would become a Brooklyn landmark. Michael’s son Fred Cacace now owns the business and Fred’s brother, John, is the chef. The most prized possession of Michaels of Brooklyn has always been their authentic and delicious Italian pasta sauces. These sauces are crafted in small batches and uses only the highest quality ingredients to jar a sauce that makes you feel as if you are eating your pasta in an Italian villa! Michael’s sauces uses imported Italian tomatoes, pure Italian olive oil, and the freshest local produce, herbs, and spices.
