Saratoga Spring Water first began bottling in 1872, four years before Alexander Graham Bell spoke to Watson, seven years before Edison chased away the night, while horse and buggy were the primary mode of transportation. The story begins in a park that has been long since forgotten, on the shores of Geyser Lake in Saratoga Springs, New York. It was at this small and elegant spring house that affluent Americans and Europeans came to enjoy the famous Saratoga Springs Water. This site still remains the location of the present day Saratoga Springs Water bottling facility. By the 1930’s Saratoga Spring Water had become world-renowned to the point that they had to add another bottling facility. The 1940’s brought with them some new developments in automated bottling technology as well as automatic bottle washers, which allowed them to modernize operations of filling bottles and placing them in a wooden crate. The more recent history of Saratoga Spring Water has been continued determination and hard work, which has allowed them to remain America’s finest spring water. Their incredibly fine spring water has endured and remained the best for more than 140 years.
