Ann and Janet Chung, sisters, and co-founders of We Rub You All Natural Korean BBQ Sauces, were inspired by their passion in sharing their Korean culture and cuisine with their friends by inviting them for family meals. Ann and Janet realized they were onto something in the summer of 2011 when they were selling delicious bulgogi sliders at Brooklyn Flea’s Smorgasburg. People kept raving to Ann and Janet about the delicious sauce on their sliders, and We Rub You All Natural Korean BBQ Sauces was born. After all of the love and compliments Ann and Janet heard about their sauce during that summer, they knew that they had to bottle their sauce and share it with the world. Their dream came to fruition on Valentines Day, February 14th 2013, when We Rub You All Natural Korean BBQ Sauces were released on the market.

Based in New York City, We Rub You Sauces are all-natural, non-GMO, MSG free, and made with no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup. These sauces are truly delicious and are the most authentic Korean barbecue sauces on the market. Open up a bottle and you truly feel as if you are eating family dinner with Ann and Janet Chung and experiencing the real culture and cuisine of Korea. Ann and Janet truly succeeded in their mission of creating a product that told a story, their story, and allowed people to feel as if they were sharing in their family culture and experience.

We Rub You is a true example of the American dream and the melting pot that is American culture. Ann and Janet Chung grew up as Korean-Americans, American children who very much held on to the traditions, customs, culture, and cuisine of their ancestor’s native land, like so many other American families. Ann and Janet’s family, the Chungs, came to America to pursue a better life and the American dream of success and happiness. America is a large melting pot of people of different cultures and from different places who all came here at some point or another in pursuit of happiness and the American dream. It is all of these different cultures and backgrounds in this big melting pot of ours that allow many children and families to grow up and live experiencing different version of American life, like Ann and Janet.  This is what We Rub You exemplifies and it certainly is successful in their mission of allowing people to experience the American, New York City life that they grew up living. Very similar to the story of Louis Winzelberg, We Rub You Sauce holds a very special place in our hearts and is truly a delicious product.
